What this site collects
This site has no accounts, comment forms, ad networks or analytics scripts, and it sets no cookies. The page is plain static HTML.
Server access logs
Our web server (Caddy, on a server in Germany run by Hetzner) automatically keeps a standard access log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the response code, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only to count daily visitors and page views in aggregate, filter out bots, and keep the site secure. The log files are rotated automatically and kept for at most 90 days. We don't sell or share them, and we don't combine them with any other data.
Amazon affiliate links, cookies and tracking
When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link you leave this site. The link includes our Associates tracking ID so Amazon can credit a qualifying purchase to us. Amazon may set or read cookies and similar tracking on your device to do that attribution, and to run its own site and ads. Amazon handles that data under its own privacy notice (amazon.com/privacy), not this policy. We never see who you are or what you bought. Amazon only gives us aggregate reports of clicks and orders.
Newsletter (beehiiv)
The newsletter button takes you to our page on beehiiv (espresso-upgrade.beehiiv.com). If you sign up there, beehiiv stores your email address and records whether you open or click our emails, under beehiiv's own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. We use your address only to send the newsletter.
The Pinterest link opens pinterest.com, which follows its own privacy policy. We don't embed Pinterest scripts on this site.
